People keep saying, "Crypto is done. There's nothing groundbreaking left to build." But that’s only because they’re not paying attention to the quiet revolutions happening behind the scenes.

This cycle belongs to the geeks and builders. It’s our time. And we’re here to shake Bitcoin awake, turning it from a slumbering beast into the powerful force it was always meant to be. Normally, I’d let memes or photos do the talking, but today, I want to say more because this moment matters.

BitVM: Bringing Bitcoin to Everyday Life

Bitcoin isn’t just a financial asset—it’s the most decentralized and secure blockchain in the world, a foundation of trust and resilience. Yet, its limited programmability has held it back from powering the complex applications needed in the real world. This is why developers turned to ecosystems like Ethereum and Solana.

But now, BitVM changes everything. Under the BitVM paradigm, Bitcoin can verify zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) during challenges using its existing Bitcoin opcodes, unlocking the ability to build any scalable layer on top of Bitcoin while inheriting its unparalleled network security. This also enables ecosystems to seamlessly integrate trust-minimized tokenized BTC for the first time. This unlocks Bitcoin-native stablecoins, trustless yield opportunities, and enabling applications like payments, gaming, and social networks, all powered by Bitcoin’s unmatched security.

Breaking Boundaries: A Year of Firsts

As a former investor, I invested myself into a team of geeks who relentlessly push boundaries. And together, we’ve created milestone after milestone. We’ve done a lot of firsts, and I know we’ll do more. But for now, I want to share how far we’ve come because it’s worth celebrating—and because I want more people to understand how much progress has been made in BitVM, Bitcoin, and the entire blockchain space.

🔥The first BitVM Bridge testnet with BitVM’s core functionality: the unhappy path challenge module.
🔥The first Bitcoin-native verification and settlement layer powered by BitVM2.
🔥The first to integrate BitVM bridges with two leading Bitcoin infrastructure projects-- @babylonlabs_io and @build_on_bob.

I know, it sounds fancy, but trust me, it wasn’t all rainbows. Along the way, there were plenty of doubters:

🤪"Cool tech, but no one will pay for it."

But here’s the thing: we’re geeks and builders to the core. While others are hyping, we’re heads down, solving puzzles—ZK cryptography, Bitcoin script, security assumptions, math problems, and more.
@cyimonio, our tech co-founder, leads the charge with research-driven protocol design and optimization. Aiden-Bitcoin is bringing the BitVM script, bridge protocol, and transaction graph to life. AnotherBody is building out the script fragments and challenge mechanisms. ImmrBig is engineering the BitVM light client, Robert-BC is developing the operator and challenge systems, and Fiamma-Builder is crafting the smart contracts and multi-chain integration. Every line of their code? It’s pushing Bitcoin closer to its true potential.
