This is so sick.
So, one of the mothers from the WhatsApp chat for parents sold Meghan's message, including her phone number, to The Sun.
She can't trust anyone.
In Montecito, none of this ever happened, and that says a lot; it tells you a lot. You can trust the parents in Montecito, but you can't trust the parents in the Cotswolds.
Anyway, I'm extremely happy that the Prince Archie and Princess Lili aren't going to that school anymore.
So your telling me that Meghan joins a school WhatsApp group for Archie and Lilibet, and a mother in that group takes a screenshot and sells her number to a UK tabloid.
How cash poor are the UKs wealthy that you are selling someone's phone number to The Sun?

How to destroy a beloved brand.
Step 1: Put a soulless, data-driven consultant who has never even seen a basketball court or a running track up close in charge.
Step 2: He goes direct! And increase profits while destroying the retail distribution system and betraying a multitude of 20-year-long partnerships.
Step 3: Motivated and innovative competitors like On Running and Hoka rush to fill the distribution gap Nike left by abandoning its trusted partners.
Step 4: Not satisfied, he fires all the stupid creative people who can't prove any of their ideas work with hard data. What could they possibly know?
Step 5: Celebrate when milking the brand for every last cent works for about 18 months, even though the data quickly show a disaster is looming.
Step 6: OMG? Wut?
Step 7: Fire the old CEO and bring in a new one who's been with the brand since day one. He tries his best, but just too much damage was done.
Step 8: Get delisted... Go down in history as the greatest example of data-driven idiots destroying one of the most successful creative brands of all time.
The end.
Lewis Hall is the best natural left back in the league with Calafiori.
Just ridiculous level to every element of his game right now… brilliant footballer. Love watching him. ⭐️
2020 Covid dip aside, hiring hasn’t been this low since 2014.
If you’re on the job market and you feel INSANE. You’re not, this is exactly why.
There are FAR less vacancies. More people looking for jobs than jobs available.
Here are my rules when playing in a market like this:
1. Forget the big companies. FTSE 500’s have fixed processes, busy recruitment teams and applicant tracking systems to store candidates.
The key in such a busy market is be heard by the team directly. Speak directly to people that make decisions and convince them you can solve their issues.
The easiest way to do this right now is to go small.
Think = niche firm in your industry. Startup where the founder posts on LinkedIn about their goals. 300 person company where the hiring manager accepts your connection request.
2. Pitch yourself over email. Leads on nicely from the first point.
The structure should be simple.
- you’ve been following their company and something you’ve noted that they do differently.
- your background and the PROBLEM you solve for others.
- the problem that you’ve noticed you can solve as it relates to the company you’re emailing.
Simple.
3. Prioritise referrals. They are 7x more likely to be responded to.
Companies prefer referrals as they are statistically better quality hires and stay longer. AND they don’t have to sift through 400 CVs to get to a candidate.
Ask for a referral for every job you’re applying for. Yes I said every job.
‘Shay I don’t know anyone at the company’. Find someone and message them.
4. Tailor your CV fr EVERY application you do or genuinely don’t bother.
5. Use AI ONLY for the process and to make things quicker. Think agents for applying or notifications.
When you’re messaging companies or sending documents that you’re hoping a human will read. The same as I’m doing in this thread !! = write it yourself. We can tell the difference.
6. Speed mattters. Any time you’re interested in a role, be within either the first 50 applicants or within the first 24 hours. The earlier the better.
7. JUSTIFY before you apply.
Can you either = provide evidence that you can do this job by your previous jobs? Or show that tasks you’ve done are directly relevant here.
This is not the market to pivot or apply to roles where you can’t explain directly why you’re a fit.
8. Apply on company websites. Use the job boards to find the roles in one place and then key people.
Once you find them go directly to the company website to apply. (I’m ex Indeed + LinkedIn and I still think the best place to apply is direct). Skip any sort of easy apply.
9. Most important thing. In your applications and in your messaging you need to remember you have value to an organisation. You’re not begging. They need you. You also need them.
It’s; here are the types of problems I solve. Here are the projects that I’ve worked on that would benefit your team.
FIN! Send this to someone that is job searching 🗣️
