BREAKING: Trump now reportedly wants Ukrainian President Zelensky to give up part of Ukraine’s land to Russia, hold elections, and possibly resign in order to receive U.S. aid, per NBC.
How about holding Putin to the same standard? How about making Putin give up part of Russia, hold elections without jailing, killing, or poisoning his opponents, and asking him to resign?
I remember the BBC’s woeful coverage during the pandemic. They used Capt Tom to cover up multiple failings by Johnson, Hancock, Cummings etc
And #bbclaurak knew about the multiple parties at Downing Street and did precisely NOTHING.

Saw this on Linked In…powerful….
We will never forget.
"Dear 77,301,997 Americans who voted for Trump,
Being Canadian has never been about shouting the loudest. We don’t pound our chests or demand attention. We are sometimes like the quiet kid on the playground, just wanting to get along with others. We hold doors, say sorry even when it’s not our fault, and shovel our neighbour’s driveway just because it’s the right thing to do. We believe in fairness, decency, and looking out for one another.
We are the world’s greatest neighbour… and yes, our spelling is the correct one. We show up. In the words of our Prime Minister on Saturday night, “from the beaches of Normandy to the mountains of the Korean Peninsula, from the fields of Flanders to the streets of Kandahar, we have fought and died alongside you during your darkest hours. During the summer of 2005, when Hurricane Katrina ravaged your great city of New Orleans, or mere weeks ago, when we sent water bombers to tackle the wildfires in California, and during the day the world stood still — Sept. 11, 2001 — when we provided refuge to stranded passengers and planes, we were always there, standing with you”.
And yet, here we are – watching your president, a man who built his legacy on bullying, turn his sights on us. He mocks us, belittles us, and treats us like some inconvenience rather than the ally who has stood by you through thick and thin.
It’s easy to mistake our politeness for passivity, or our kindness for weakness. But here’s the thing about the quiet kid on the playground: push that kid far enough, and that kid pushes back.
Canada has never needed to boast about its strength. We just prove it. On battlefields. In boardrooms. On the ice. So, if you think you can push us around and take us for granted – think again. You think we will become your “cherished 51st state” – think again. Underestimate us… that will be fun. Because the quiet kid? The quiet kid remembers. And when the quiet kid finally stands up, the whole playground takes notice.
Now we are pissed.
Sincerely,
Canada"
I have long thought the “Trump is a Russian asset” line was the stuff of conspiracy theory. Not so sure now. Everything he says and does feels like it is pre-scripted in, by and for the Kremlin. Scary times
In 1970, the UK and Norway both discovered oil in the North Sea.
The UK sold their reserves to private markets while Norway kept state ownership.
This ONE decision created the biggest wealth gap in European history.
Here's the full story: 🧵
of course he's still talking his stuck record WW3 drivel and lying about 350b $ because all he has is drivel and lies and then he goes golfing while subjecting Ukraine to murder from the skies. His version of " settle" is capitulation to an aggressor. Morally as well as serially bankrupt
Russia Friday released a statement saying they will not commit to a ceasefire or make any concessions.
- Lavrov
If you are in any doubt Trump is a Russian asset, then you are idiotic.
As Trump continues to complain about the US trade agreement with Canada, here’s a flashback to 2018 when he signed the USMCA trade agreement with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Don’t let him rewrite history and shift blame.
The battle of our day is no longer about Democrats versus Republicans or left versus right.
The choice right now is democracy or dictatorship. And we're sliding faster than I ever thought possible into the latter.
Everyone must choose which side they’re on.
Two judges have forced the US government to reinstate two senior federal officials fired by President Trump, one saying: "An American President is not a king”

Reform Ltd only has 5 MPs:
One jailed for domestic violence
One served a community protection notice
One now under investigation for threatening violence
Quite a bunch

Here's Trump basically saying that he deliberately allows russia to bomb Ukraine and kill Ukrainians to force us to 'settle.'
I don't even know how to comment on this.
Trump implicitly acknowledges that his withdrawal of intelligence and other support to Ukraine facilitates Russia’s terrorist attacks of Ukrainian civilians.
Trump is a monster.
With this monstrous act Trump has made the United States a military ally of Vladimir Putin's Russia in its brutal and murderous war of aggression against Ukraine. One of the darkest, most shameful days in American history. Both FDR and Reagan spinning in their graves.
Shocking & shameful from Trump. Is there not a single journalist in White House with the courage to step up and point out Zelenskyy is the democratically elected leader of a sovereign country who is bravely standing against the illegal invasion of Ukraine by a murderous dictator?
As Trump now actively helps Russia kill Ukrainian soldiers and civilians, the silence of Republicans who used to say they were staunch supporters of Ukraine is deafening.
