Today AMS celebrate’s 6 years of running the audio description commentary (ADC) at Southampton Football Club.
ADC has been live at St. Mary’s Stadium since 2018 and we’ve broadcasted live for over 120 games, from the Championship, FA Cup, League cup and of course now, in the Premier League!
From the Play-off semi final win vs West Brom to the last minute James Ward-Prowse winner against Spurs! AMS took to the mic to guide blind and vision impaired fans through the games.
Thanks to all our commentators for all their brilliant dedication and commentary. All members of the team have attended with a smile and professionalism and delivered ADC in its purest form, the AMS way. As well as ADC, we also help Southampton FC provide audio programmes and audio description highlights. We are dedicated to making football at #SaintsFC as accessible as possible for all vision impaired spectators, home or away and we look forward to the rest of this season and beyond, providing ADC at St Mary’s.
Thank you to all who tune into the commentary and keep spreading the word!
As part of our support for #UniteForAccess we're sharing stories from Saints fans ❤️
