@AmericanAir just cancelled our flight to Nashville. Bad enough. Upon approaching the gate for assistance, I received the absolutely most dismissive & classless attempt I have EVEN seen by a member of any organization to give assistance to a paying customer. The representative at the gate literally attempted to avoid my questions by going to another gate & then arguing with the representative there who was also basically unwilling/unable to help me. When asked whom I could speak with they told me they don’t have a service desk any longer. I then asked for contact information - they could not provide it. They said that they used to have cards, but American Airlines has opted not to print them any longer. This is THE WORST customer service & flight experience I have ever experienced during a domestic flight. Do better, @AmericanAir - this is embarrassing & unbecoming of a legitimate airline.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s and Congressman David Kustoff’s “Restoring the Armed Career Criminal Act” will empower federal prosecutors to target Memphis’ most dangerous career criminals, delivering a much-needed boost in tackling Memphis’ crime challenge. This law will impose mandatory 15-year minimum sentences on people with three or more serious felony convictions who are found guilty of illegal firearm possession.

With a soft-on-crime local District Attorney, it will be up to federal prosecutors to aggressively prosecute Shelby County’s criminals, and I appreciate our congressional delegation’s relentless focus on Shelby County’s safety to help us restore law and order.

I was greatly encouraged by the meeting Senator Blackburn invited me to with the FBI. Her determination to focus federal resources on Memphis’ crime challenge will have a big impact. As I work to #MakeMemphisMatter, Senator Blackburn’s partnership ensures we’ll Make Memphis Safe Again.

I believe @SecRollins has done a great job representing those of us in American Agriculture. Still lots of work to be done, but she is very proactive & trying her best to meet the needs of a (currently) financially struggling industry due to a number of different pressures. The addition of @DepSecVaden only makes things even better. He is an exceptional addition to the @USDA team.
