@bramk That could potentially remove BTC from Human use (some would view as sad end to the BTC experiment) but also provide a final “bag holder” or exit for all Human BTC holders without anyone “losing out”.
@HermesLux It feels like this combined with the upcoming Tokenisation of Stocks would enable both 365 daily accruals and dividends and be fully transformative.
Having spent nearly $1b in cash to get it back to par, I’d prefer initial STRC sales at $100.01 to build up a STRC stabilisation fund / STRC reserve to buy back STRC at 99.99 to help lock it at par. Once this is achieved, flows to STRC may be huge and BTC purchases could then be made from those funds
@TheBTCTherapist There isn’t currently significant volume on STRC so unless this changes, BTC purchases from sale of preferreds may be relatively small
@RoaringRagnar Agree. $MSTR potentially going to be in top 10 most profitable companies for Q3 (potentially 6th) and BTC at c87k will erase loss YTD. If BTC finishes year above that level, we’ll be all on S&P500 inclusion watch again!
@DBGyt_ 3rd time this season CC has been pulled 1 score away from a 30/10 Double Double. Everyone else collectively has only managed that achievement 4 times in WNBA history and she has been stopped almost as many times!
Great for KM and amazing achievement 🙌🙌. Also notice last night was 3rd time (this season) CC has been taken out of the game when 1 score away from a 30/10 game - those 3 instances are now only 1 short of the total that all other players have achieved such a milestone in WNBA History
@scottmelker@HawleyMO Presented as being a relatively simple issue to resolve with minor tweaks, but curious as to why the provisions to prevent this and support community banks are viewed as insufficient.
@Jeff29340275@MetaLawMan@LeaderJohnThune Tillis tactically flipped his vote to enable him to request it to be reopened for reconsideration - he is supportive and may have saved it. The same happened with Genius - initially failed cloture before going through
@gillibrandny@GOPMajorityWhip To prove you are genuine, why not write an ethics provision or bill that spans all industries including stocks and everything else.
@guen6741@cryptodotnews Hoping for same like with passage of Genius Act: initial failure first time around, political manoeuvrings and compromises then retry of cloture successfully
@scottmelker Would be quite hilarious if the SEC and CFTC just issue pro crypto regulations without any of concessions that the Democrats and Banks want and have gained in the draft bill
@Matt_Hougan Couldn’t the SEC and CFTC just issue pro crypto regulations without any of concessions that the Democrats and Banks want and have gained in the draft bill - they would then have a reason to want the bill to pass
