🚨 Yesterday, four people died and several others were injured in a crash involving a vehicle from the welcome convoy for UTOF Chairman Hajji Rashid Ssekindi. He had just returned from Mecca, and the group was heading back from Entebbe Airport when the accident happened on Monday. One victim was the driver, Sam Kubalingira. The injured were rushed to Kiruddu Hospital.

The reports say the exact cause isn't clear yet, but the vehicle overturned and crushed people who were riding on top of it during the celebration convoy. That's likely what made it so deadly when it flipped, those on the roof had no protection.
📌 It's a painful reminder: please, no one should ever stand or sit on top of a moving vehicle, no matter how excited you are. It turns a minor crash into a tragedy. Drive carefully, keep everyone inside with seatbelts, and avoid overloading or reckless convoy behavior.
