The world's biggest company isn’t Apple or Amazon—it’s a UK firm called Novateur, with £100 trillion in assets.
Incredible? Yes.
True? Kind of.
Real? Not remotely.
It's a blatant fraud. Here’s how Companies House missed it - and how they could stop these frauds for good.
I have thought long and hard about whether to share this judge’s sentencing summary as it is so explicit and devastating to read. And please be warned, it is graphic and heartbreaking to read.
But I feel that now is the time to fight hardest, to share all the truth however horrific this is, when the international spotlight is on our country.
To expose the true horrors these children experience and ensure public pressure for decisive action doesn’t fade away. Again.
And linked to the paltry sentences I just shared in my post about another gang who raped young children, I think people will understand why I have just not been able to let this go!
And until we have TRUE CRIMINAL ACCOUNTABILITY for all those with blood on their hands, I can’t let this go.
Abusers, senior police, senior social workers, council leaders, judiciary, prime ministers
Hang your heads in shame!

Strongly-worded column here from Ian Hislop about Justin Welby's appearance at a British Museum trustees' dinner the day after he announced his resignation
Well, well, well, well... would you look at that. What an utter shambles. Great exclusive by @oliver_wright & @adamvaughan_uk
Seema Kennedy @SeemaKennedy board member of water industry regulator @ofwat (appointments are made by the Secretary of State for the Environment) is also working for a lobbying firm that is "spearheading a campaign that could make it harder for consumers to sue water companies".
No conflict of interest there then. I'll assume she'll be resigning before lunchtime then shall I?

It’s been 63 years since suicide was decriminalised in the UK. But so many of us still use the term ‘commit suicide’.
Why does it matter? Language that links suicide and crime can increase stigma and prevent people struggling with suicidal thoughts from speaking out.
If we choose language like ‘died by suicide’ or ‘took their own life’ we allow space for open conversations and compassion. Let’s choose our words carefully.

"Swimmers told to avoid these 19 beaches in England considered no longer safe amid diarrhoea and sickness warning."
I still find it utterly shocking, it's 2024, a G7 member state & people are being told to stay away from the beach.
What's wrong with us?

Our mental health system, prisons and social services are filled with struggling undiagnosed ADHDers and autistic people.
Imagine if they received the assessments and treatment they needed. Research shows the catastrophic effects unmedicated ADHD can have. It isn’t a ‘trend’.
This is massive
Supreme Court rules WCs can sued for nuisance or trespass for dumping sewage even if “There has been no negligence or deliberate misconduct”, by the WC
That opens the way for 1,000s of claims by fishing clubs, swimmers, riparian owners against WCs. WOW just WOW!
i’m in the airport and i just used the disabled access queue (which i am well within my rights to do as a multiply-disabled person) and had a middle-aged woman in the queue to the side tutting about it “not being fair”. i’d usually let comments like this go over my head but…
