Another stunning morning to be out on the Thames. Cows, church bells, kites, herons and a couple of kingfishers as well as the customary swans, geese and wood pigeons. It was almost as if summer had arrived...
Hopeful new dawn! Great to be out on the water this morning knowing that I might be able to paddle with as many as five other people in only a few weeks' time!
Enjoyed some lunchtime sunshine for my last paddle of the year - a blast in a race boat on the K&A. Goodbye 2020 which will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Here's to 2021 and the return to more social paddlesport activity. Happy New Year all!
Congratulations to Kevin, Kyle, John and Julie completing #BritishCanoeing Core Coach Training with me @Engagewater this week. Your enthusiasm for our sport is truly awesome!
Paddling is always great – anytime, anywhere. Whenever I’m on the water I feel that sense of freedom and release from the day-to-day. But paddling with a clear aim or focus is even better... https://t.co/5F5BgfIPzI

The Glorious 13th! A lovely afternoon for first day back on the water since March. Thank you @BritishCanoeing for making the case for some paddlesport to resume.
Lockdown day #13 and an hour peddling for my essential exercise. It seems peddling will have to stand in as the new paddling for a while yet. Stay safe!
With the UK in lockdown, courses suspended and the rivers effectively closed, this month's blog shares some thoughts on the art of feedback... https://t.co/cQgizPu08P
There are a couple places available on my next paddlesport Core Coach training courses: 7-8 March in Oxford and 9-10 May near Maidenhead. You'll need #BritishCanoeing membership and be keen to share your knowledge and skills with others. Message if you're interested!
