Update of Arizona standouts in AUSL (6/25) - Welcome back, Dejah Mulipola. After being reinstated from the temporary inactive list Tuesday following her time in the Japanese Diamond League, the former Arizona All-American catcher reached base twice yesterday and has two hits and two runs in her first couple of games with the Texas Volt.

Jaden Bradley went from little to no recognition entering this season and became one of the elite point guards in the nation for Big 12 champion and Final Four-bound Arizona. Now, the Big 12 Player of the Year can gain motivation from being the 50th pick overall in the NBA draft, going late in the second round to the Toronto Raptors.

Via a UNC source: Henri Veesaar would have had at least a $5 million NIL deal had he returned. He left to chase being a first-rounder.
We're into the mid-40s and he's still waiting.
Easily the biggest mistake of the 2026 draft—and certainly one of the biggest in recent memory.
Check out my story I did for @AllSportsTucson a few months back about the three gymnasts from Arizona who will be staying in-state and joining the GymCats!

If a talented coach has an opportunity to go somewhere with more stability, more commitment to women, and better pay, she should go without a second thought.
Thornydale standout Kenzie Scott picked up 4 Ks in relief to earn a 14-4 victory over Marana to win the D-5 Junior Softball Championship. Scott, who will be pitching for Mountain View next spring, also went 2-2 at the plate with 3 RBIs including a 2-run shot. Thornydale advances to the West Regional starting July 23 at Arthur Pack. Marana heads to state starting July 7 at Mission Manor.
Attorney Darren Heitner --- who's working in unison with fellow attorney Ryan Downton --- tells me that the duo now has 55 college basketball players from the HS Class of 2022 who will be filing lawsuits in at least five states after today's NCAA rule change.
Field 4 (Field 7) at Murrieta Park is named after Harry Hoskinson who passed away in 2014 at the age of 13. I was there at the original field dedication at the "old" Murrieta Park in 2018.
His father, Tim, came by to see the tile work dedicated to his son for the first time.
Time, as they say, heals all wounds. If only life worked out that way.
