@Jean_B_Anderson @mikalskuterud The people with the highest scores are the ones with high levels of French and English, with a Master degree and young. These types of immigrants do not work in construction. They are the engineers, medical doctors, professionals, etc. The construction worker would not make it.

Key Information: High rates of unemployment and poverty remain a challenge, and weatlh distribution is among the most unequal in the world. Crime rate is high and rates of sexual abuse are among the highest in the world.

FLAG: As of 2012, 121,000 South Africans mistakenly had more than one identity document or were sharing an ID number with someone else. This is linked to confusion caused by procedural changes to how books were issued after 1994, and the amalgamation of home affairs departments which served different nationalities, caused confusion in the national population register, leading the department to mistakenly issue new IDs.

FLAG: High level of fraud for citizens of other African countries with improperly registered late births. Note: late registration of birth was common after the fall of apartheid.

FLAG: Marriage certificates issued by Muslim religious authorities prior to 2014 are not valid. Since 2014, the Government has prescribed a list of 100 imams who are authorized to perform marriages. To date, this list has not been published.
