Texas is all in on AI. The school is launching Bevo Lab, a 25,000-square-foot sports AI hub, and coaches are already quizzing Google’s Gemini about opponents.

@CathVSConf@On3 Yes. That’s the point of the story.
Only a few could thrive as independents before. The circumstances are changing, and that number might be a lot bigger soon.
@ChefMaal7@AriWasserman Nobody said there were 25 better.
But if you include everyone on Miami’s level and above, you get 20-25 that would be capable of going independent.
That would shake up everything.
The QB transfer portal could feature significant movement. Schools and agents are already gauging the market.
"I have a guy who is currently starting in the SEC, and I couldn’t tell you what is going to happen in that quarterback room next year."

Very curious to see how Ryan Day and Arthur Smith adjust the offense around a QB with a different skill set (who will still be able to throw to No. 4).
Gary Patterson and the USC D will have to prep blind, so it’s in Ohio State’s best interest to lean into the differences.
🚨 NEW SHOW 🚨
🌰 Ohio State's new QB1: Luke Fahey or Tavien St. Clair? @LettermenRow

@clevelandteams Bingo. I wonder if they also sprinkle in some speed option. Allows you to force the D to defend triple option principles without having to learn to block the triple.
@checkmateblaze@slmandel@TheAthletic You assume players and teams won't eventually come to terms and resume playing.
People don't just walk away from a multibillion dollar business. That assumes a level of stupidity that simply doesn't exist. Someone will always figure out a way to keep the money flowing.
@checkmateblaze@slmandel@TheAthletic As long as there’s money in it (fans), they’ll put out a product.
So yes, all businesses should study their customers’ behavior.
Notice I didn’t say “do what customers say.”
Because their actions are always more important than their words.
