Progress on fairer funding reflects years of formal engagement and cross-party collaboration across London.
I welcome the Government listening to the representations made for Croydon. The priority now is responsible delivery for residents and continued financial stability.
@TiceRichard Hi Richard, I am currently a Conservative Cllr. in Croydon so do not agree with all your views, but as a person with a disability I completly agree with your views on this subject. Take a look at the video I shared on IDDP day on December 3rd. https://t.co/9MNB9vqM0N
Our councillors have been out across Croydon chatting with traders and putting up posters to mark #SmallBizSatUK.
From cafés to florists to restaurants and more, these independents keep our communities buzzing - let’s back them today and every day!
Executive Mayor Jason Perry looks back at the week, including the new shops opening at Allders Parade, expansion of @Gatwick_Airport and making Croydon safer through a town centre PSPO and youth justice plan. Read @JasonForCroydon's weekly message: https://t.co/1vvUvXQne1
Big news for Croydon. With the Transport Secretary’s approval of London Gatwick’s second runway, thousands of new jobs and millions in investment are now within reach.
Just 14 minutes from the terminal, Croydon is a key gateway in the Gatwick Airport Economic Zone - powering skills, logistics and growth.
@Gatwick_Airport currently supports 3,680 Croydon jobs and contributes £265m to our economy - a figure set to rise through more skilled jobs, new supply chain opportunities, and greater investment in infrastructure and training.
We signed an Economic Growth Charter with London Gatwick - accelerating our shared plan for a modern, connected Croydon at the heart of the South East economy. As the region’s powerhouse, we are putting #confidenceincroydon
I met with our expanding Compliance Team - here to tackle the broken windows effect by cracking down on fly-tipping, waste on land, and public eyesores across Croydon.
Meet the team:
👉Ken Thompson - our experienced enforcement lead, on the frontline since last year
👉Timothy Flowerday - bringing fresh energy and focus to compliance work
👉Cheuk Hei Titus Lam - boosting our capacity to take swift action
Together, they are part of our Zero Tolerance approach - reclaiming our streets from neglect and lawlessness.
📲 See something wrong? Report it via the Love Clean Streets app so we can take action.
Front line services were cut by Labour, graffiti removal, grass cutting, neighbourhood safety officers etc
Another slap in the face to #Croydon residents, Labour have once again shown they have zero respect for Croydon!
@JasonForCroydon, will continue to stand up for Croydon!
Great to be at the Croydon Music and Arts Showcase tonight at the Fairfield Halls. Inspired by the diversity and talent of young people from across Croydon.

Great news that South Croydon station will receive part of £350m of Government funding to improve disabled access. This comes after lobbying the Government with support from Cllrs @CllrDani_Denton, @GatlandMaria & @michaelneal15, similar to a project at Coulsdon South Station.
Celebrating Croydon at it's best - With over 360,000 residents coming to events and a further 290,000 people engaging with events digitally. I'm so proud to live in such a diverse and talented place like Croydon.
