@RicFinlay The latest Science of Sport podcast covers this really well. Given the circumstances this looks like a reasonable outcome for both parties. https://t.co/tmHnUJllcY
@neverstraysfar I think I had my moment when you were sat in a cafe near Ave des Gobelins in Paris during 1923. I lived around the corner from there 20 years ago, so quite the flashback from Melbourne in 2024.
@neverstraysfar@Harrison_Wood00 What was it like cycling for the French army team? Did they have to do much military work? Just enjoying your work on the SBS highlights in Melbourne...
Absolutely biblical skies in Tasmania at 4am this morning. Iβm leaving today and knew I could not pass up this opportunity for such a large solar storm. Hereβs the image. I actually had to de-saturate the colours. Clouds glowing red. Insane. Shot on Nikon. Rt appreciated
@normal_danny Yes a big parkrunday in Melbourne, I was RD at Maribyrnong as we broke our attendance record with 460. Parkville also broke theirs with 602. We also had a new female course record with Lissy Duncan getting around in 15:39!
@normal_danny Any system will be gamed. Most of my first 25 vollie credits were from pacing. Now I RD, but also offer in advance to barcode scan after running when touring as I can get around under 20 mins. I genuinely have a great time doing both, the extra credit means less than helping out!
