Recruiting conversations as a 28 parent. It’s luck. It’s hard. There’s more kids playing than ever. Maybe more schools should add college lacrosse🤷♂️
Advocates are key.
@JoePompliano The model is a long-term national play on exercise and health. Develop a love for sport before developing the competitive aspect. Socialism vs capitalism might have an impact 🤔
@CoachSwit Have you seen a lacrosse tournament in 99 degrees on turf and your team plays 4 games?! And tournaments don’t have shade or water on sidelines so you bake?
@JaredB_BSBL 0-2. 2-0. What’s the rationale to tell 11-12 year olds they can’t swim? Was going 0-2 a lineup issue? Did the coach not coach them up? Maybe he should tell them no dinner and straight to bed. And lead by example
Read a great positive piece on committed kids from Stafford Productions and how they can’t stop working as coaches are already looking at the class behind them. It was well stated, and motivating to read why the work begins in a different stage now.
Making it doesn’t mean rest
@tetheredtoed1@jenteach13 Sometimes it the opposite- they leave because dept won’t update decades old curriculum and demand teachers mentor vs having dept head observe and guide. And administrators who support ‘this is how we do it’ are root of the problem too
@laxcolumbus If it’s true you have an AD who gets numbers and spent time at MD to see how to make it work. The ACC is already fly to all things except NC/VA contests. This could be the pebble thrown in the lake that ripples across the region
@laxcolumbus There have been reports it would not impact tha class. The bigger question is if the clock starts at 19, how much of an impact does that have on double reclass
@CoachLisle No need to spike the bat and the dunk at the end (and that crap at all levels) is stupid. Play the game, celebrate at home plate and move on to the next batter
Opinion: the family had a plan and held to it. In today’s world, could have easily left. The constant noise in the news (NITN) was annoying as a sports fan - as if no other story was available or worth finding.
Kudos to staying resilient
