@FirehouseSubs Thanks for the follow-up! Total 180 at Forest Dr today—fully staffed and the sub was perfect. No PM needed, just glad to see the team supported and quality restored. Appreciate the quick fix!
@FirehouseSubs, love the food but the Forest Drive location in Columbia (Store 665) is struggling. 2 staff for 12+ people, my 'light mayo/no onion' order is wrong every time, and the soda takes like seltzer water. Can we get some support for this team?
Just released today. This issue is well known in the interventional cardiology world but not enough resources have been dedicated to solving it. https://t.co/5McwVRUbGN
@GreggWStone I wonder if some of this is driven by either operator or nursing inexperience. Anecdotally, bleeding and hemolysis complications seem to be driven by inexperience with Impella dressing, patient log rolling, etc. (I acknowledge the trigger word “anectdotally” 🤣)
@AustinBourgeois@HSVHospital Have to be careful with sheaths as they can get caught under the gray “mud flaps”, especially femoral sheaths. It’s rather bulky and can be difficult with extreme C-arm angles but it’s certainly a step in the right direction.
Incredibly proud to call myself an alumnus of @uccardiology fellowship with such outstanding mentorship, a wide breadth of pathology, and amazing colleagues. Excited to embark on the next step toward becoming an interventional cardiologist with one final year @uccardiology!
@SophiaAntimis@yeh_james3 Fresh into residency, you will have tons of oversight. As others have said, listen to your nurses. They will pick up on things much faster than us since they are so close to the patient.
Previous IVDU with infective endocarditis s/p bio AVR. Presented 6 months ago with repeat IE and root abscess but was turned down due to continued IVDU. Now enrolled in substance abuse clinic and presenting with syncope. Yikes
@CinPubServices Thank you for ONCE AGAIN skipping our neighborhood streets which caused a UPS truck to get stuck and block our entire block from leaving. We have elderly neighbors who need medical treatment and can’t leave.
Great discussion on bleeding in PCI. Hard to fight the fear of ISR/ST in the era of registries, but the data is convincing. Lots of great points raised and areas for further research. Curious about temporarily holding AC for non-valve AF before DAPT deescalation. @SVRaoMD
I had the privilege and honor to present the EFS work for the 9F ECP at TCT 2021. This powerful technology will change the landscape for complex PCI and High Risk Patients. 4 Liters via 9F equals game changer. Exciting times for our field and our patients!
