With the release of the official images for Tshedza Pictures’ new telenovela ‘The Four of Us’ something interesting has been done with the wardrobe styling.

The Dhlomo siblings are all dressed in red, but in different shades, which could symbolise that they are not as united as they appear to be.

The sisters share the same shade of red, while the brothers wear different shades. The youngest brother, played by ThembiNkosi Mthembu, appears to sit somewhere in the middle in terms of the shade he is wearing, while the eldest brother stands out with both his suit and his distinct shade of red.

It has already been hinted that The Four of Us is a family drama centred on the Dhlomo family, with sibling rivalries forming a major part of the storyline. The two eldest siblings are set to battle for power, while the eldest sister, Busani, played by Sindi Dlathu, will stop at nothing to protect the family legacy.

But the question remains: Is blood really thicker than water?
