Sahadeb Bag, husband of Chaina Bag, a Panchayat Samity member, was allegedly brutally murdered in Goghat by BJP-backed assailants soon after the new Chief Minister took oath.
This horrifying incident has once again raised serious concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation and the growing climate of political violence in Bengal.
In the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s district, BJP-backed miscreants have unleashed a reign of terror, setting ablaze the homes of our party workers and leaving families devastated. Such barbaric acts are not only an attack on a political party, but also a direct assault on democracy, peaceful political coexistence, and the safety of ordinary citizens.
We strongly condemn this heinous violence and demand the immediate arrest of those responsible, along with the strictest possible punishment to ensure justice is served.
Bengal continues to burn even the day after Parivartan is sworn in. BJP goons set ablaze 60 shops belonging to both Hindus & Muslims in Khejuri. Where are the 700 companies of central forces now?
The districts of Bengal continue to burn in the fire of post poll violence. No enquiries, no commission, no probe from the government or party in power. They preach peace, they practice violence.
Bengal is already witnessing a DOUBLE ENGINE DISASTER.
In Khejuri’s Jonka GP, West Bhangan Mari area, nearly 10 shops were allegedly set ablaze last night by BJP miscreants, right in front of the police. Entire livelihoods have been reduced to ashes because hatred and intimidation are now being used as political tools.
This is the true face of the politics preached by @AmitShah and @BJP4India - division, fear and targeted violence carried out with complete impunity.
Where are the Central Forces now? Or are they deployed only when it suits the BJP’s political agenda? Is the Home Minister watching in silence while Bengal burns?
If shops can be torched and communities terrorised in broad daylight, what remains of law and order? The message being sent is loud and dangerous - under BJP’s shadow, violence appears protected.
And as they say, the morning shows the day.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) on their impressive victory in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. I also convey my warm wishes to Shri @TVKVijayHQ on being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
This verdict reflects the aspirations, trust and democratic will of the people of Tamil Nadu. I am confident that under his leadership, Tamil Nadu will continue its journey of progress, welfare and inclusive development.
Wishing him and his government success in serving the people with dedication and commitment.
Shameful and deeply provocative.
In the Banshihari area of Dakshin Dinajpur, the statues of Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu, the legendary heroes of the Santhal Rebellion, have been vandalised.
This is not mere vandalism. It is a direct attack on Adivasi pride, history and the identity of Bengal’s tribal communities.
The same people who seek votes in the name of tribal welfare remain silent when the icons revered by tribal society are repeatedly disrespected.
Bengal will not tolerate this politics of hatred and insult. Those responsible for this disgraceful act must be identified and punished immediately!

Did you ask the same question to Nehru, Did you ask the question to Indira Gandhi, Did you ask the same question to Rajiv Gandhi, Did you ask the same question to Manmohan Singh. Huh.
CAUGHT RED-HANDED!
BJP’S CASH-FOR-VOTES SCANDAL EXPOSED!
Desperate, defeated, and devoid of public support, BJP has resorted to its final, filthiest tactic. BUYING THE MANDATE. In Bally, their candidate was caught red-handed with bags of cash, the literal price they’ve put on your dignity.
When the people stood up and the police moved in, the candidate FLED LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT. BJP knows they have lost Bengal, so they are trying to buy it.
BENGAL IS NOT FOR SALE.
