🔴 Open drop anesthesia: It is not used in modern anesthesia.
A technique for producing inhalation anesthesia in which drops of a liquid anesthetic, such as ether, are placed on a gauze mask or cone applied over the mouth and nose.

🔻Anesthesia consideration:
- Local or regional anesthesia are preferred.
- CPAP intraoperatively may be helpful.
- Preparation of difficult airway cart.
- Opioids analgesia should be kept minimum.

🔴 Obstructive sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder. It causes breathing to repeatedly stop and start during sleep. This type of apnea occurs when your throat muscles intermittently relax and block your airway during sleep.

🔻 General anesthesia might be dangerous for people with obstructive sleep apnea. It may also make it more difficult to intubate and extubate, airway obstruction and respiratory depression are possible.

🔴Lactated Ringers:
LR is an isotonic crystalloid containing sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, and sodium lactate in sterile water.
contraindicated in patients with a pH > 7.5, patients with liver disease or lactic acidosis. Use with caution in renal failure.
