This is What Real America Still Looks Like! 53 Veterans Get the Welcome They Deserve at Gate 17.

Folks, stop what you're doing and watch this.
When Southwest announced an Honor Flight with 53 American veterans was pulling up to Gate 17, the whole damn terminal showed up to give them the hero's welcome they earned decades ago.

You’ve got Vietnam warriors rolling in wheelchairs, walking with pride, eyes lighting up as regular Americans: moms, dads, kids, travelers stand up and clap like their lives depend on it. Salutes. Smiles. Pure respect.

This right here? This is the America I know and love. Not the nonsense you see on the news every day. This is us at our best, remembering who kept us free. Honoring the men who answered the call when it mattered most.

These aren't just "old guys in veteran hats." These are legends. They fought for this country when the world needed them. And today, a random airport gate reminded them: We still got your six.

Big thanks to Southwest Airlines for making this happen, and to every single person who stood up and clapped. Y’all restored some faith today.

To every veteran on that flight and every veteran watching, thank you for your service. We owe you more than we can ever repay.
