There’s this massive urgency right now to learn everything about AI.

But here’s the reality: a lot of organizations aren’t actually ready for AI.

Some are still trying to figure out what problems they want AI to solve. Others are dealing with outdated infrastructure, poor data quality, broken processes, and unclear governance.

Learning AI is absolutely important. But we also have to remember that AI doesn’t automatically fix a broken foundation.

You can’t just slap AI on top of inefficient processes and expect transformation.

Sometimes the smartest AI strategy starts with fixing the basics: data, infrastructure, processes, security, governance, and a clearly defined business problem.

The question shouldn’t always be, “Where can we add AI?”

It should be, “What problem are we trying to solve and is AI actually the right solution?”

That’s the difference between simply adopting AI and being truly AI-ready.
