"if i ever get a punk, it's the first thing i'm doing"

i can't thank @SekureD enough for designing these incredible custom kicks for my punk in time for the Beeple event

i had the pleasure of hosting a panel with Sekure on 'Digital Fashion' at NFT Fest Aus last year and was blown away by his knowledge of that vertical and sneakers in general

but what really stuck out to me was the kicks he was wearing - a stunning pair of custom deadfellaz, a work-of-art on his feet

finding out that he was a supremely talented artist, with a fascinating backstory and that he been creating custom kicks for ~15 years, i was blown away by him

after the panel, it was the first thing i said: if i was ever lucky enough to get my hands on a punk, i'd be asking him to create me a pair

in the last year or so since then, he's become a great fren IRL and someone i learn from almost daily

most of our nfts are worthless, it's true - but the frens & connections we made along the way are the true utility

i almost don't want to wear them... but i will, this Saturday at @beeple's punk party - they'll be precious cargo on the 26hour flight later today

and i'll look after them like they deserve - unless i can get Beeple the clown to do the infamous Aussie "shoey" 🍺👟🤡
