Last week 6th form students watched a national webcast to mark the 80th commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day. They heard Mala’s moving testimony of her life in Poland before WW2, her removal to a ghetto and eventually to Belsen concentration camp, which was liberated in 1945.
Drizzle and cold weather didn't dampen our Christmas spirits as we headed to Brighton yesterday for ice skating at the beautiful Pavilion. A wonderful festive time was had by all!

Students who took part in the Turning Tides sponsored sleepout were invited to a fun and action-packed day at Out of Bounds last Friday. Well done to everyone, we hope you enjoyed your reward!
Our Sleepout Committee presented a cheque for £1,857.50 to Turning Tides on Friday 29th November. Thank you to all who donated for this wonderful local charity!

Sixth form students had a brilliant week doing work experience with local media company, Blue Billboard. They designed adverts for local businesses which were displayed in Worthing. They interviewed the public to determine which ads were the most effective. Well done to all !

We took a group of Year 12 students St John's College, Oxford University, last Friday. They had a tour of the campus, learned about university life and took part in a critical thinking workshop. Thanks to St John's for hosting us so warmly and to Mr Bowles for arranging the day.
Last term 6th Form students took part in a personal development programme run by Concordia Youth Action. They followed this up with two fantastic activity days in January 2024: a fun day at Out of Bounds and a conservation project at Sothwick Hill. A great time was had by all.
