@NYCTSubway Really sad regarding accident on the subway lines during rush hours however there needs to be better communication about alternative routes and launching of additional trains 🚂 .
@NYCTSubway First the escalator was out of service on 59th & Lexington, it took us over 20 minutes to get down the narrow staircase, missed the N train by seconds, waited 15 minutes for next train after another N train didn’t stop, now we’re being held at Fifth Avenue 🚂 #rushhour
“When I was hungry” you made sure I didn’t get lunch at school.
“When I was thirsty” you made sure I didn’t get water while waiting in line to vote.
“when I was a stranger” you put razor wire in the water and watched as I drowned.

I've written a book. About Christianity. About being a pastor's kid. About the evangelical church idolizing America at the expense of its witness for Jesus Christ.

This reckoning is happening - solidarity for all who want justice , peace , long and short term safety for the good of all - to stop the killing now . CEASE FIRE - for Palestine for Israel, for the wounded and dead - for those dying now in Gaza - for the hostages yet to be released , to stop the rising tide of anti semitism & Islamophobia . We do not accept THE LIE that any country’s security & safety can depend on the extermination of another people.

Raquel Welch, born Jo Raquel Tejada, has died at the age of 82.
''Latinos are here to stay,'' Raquel told an audience at a 2002 National Press Club luncheon. ''As citizen Raquel, I'm proud to be Latina.''
Generosity is not about putting others first. It's about treating people better than they expect—and expecting nothing in return.
Showing care is as much about the respect you grant as the time you give.
A sign of character is consistently choosing to be kinder than necessary.
