๐จ๐ฃ๏ธ Bruno Fernandes on staying at Manchester United:
"I stayed because I thought I still had something to contribute to the club.
Obviously, the Saudi offer, with all that moneyโฆ it was huge. My wife has her feet on the ground, just like me.
We don't want to be the richest people in the world. We just want to be the ones who have achieved their dreams, who lead a beautiful life with their children and who try to achieve as much success as possible.
My wife said to me: 'Have you achieved your dreams? Have you accomplished everything you wanted?'
That little remark made me realize that she was on the same wavelength as me. I didn't want to leave the club when we were in difficulty."

The last time Manchester United faced Brentford, United lost 3โ1, a result heavily influenced by a scandalous mistake from the referee and VAR.

In the second half, with the score at 2โ1, Mbeumo was denied an obvious goal-scoring opportunity when Brentford defender Collins pulled him down.
The referee awarded a penalty but failed to show a red card for a clear DOGSO, and VAR agreed with the decision.
To everyoneโs shock, VAR took about five minutes to review what seemed an obvious call, yet still reached the wrong conclusion.
This delay may have contributed to Brunoโs penalty miss, while Brentford remained with 11 players on the pitch.
This poor decision had a significant impact on the match, with United eventually losing 3โ1.
The PGMOL chief later admitted it was a mistake.
John Brooks, who sent Paul Tierney to the monitor to send Martรญnez off, was on VAR for Man City vs Arsenal today.
This time, he chose to ๐๐๐๐๐๐ the following incidents:
1. A clear goal-scoring opportunity involving Khusanov on Kai Havertz.
2. A seemingly deliberate headbutt from Gabriel on Erling Haaland.
3. A similar incident to Martรญnezโs, where Gabriel appeared to pull Haalandโs hair.
No intervention this time โ perhaps because Manchester United werenโt involved.
If that was a Manchester United player headbutting someone like Gabriel did to Erling Haaland, thatโs a straight red.
If it was Casemiro or Lisandro Martรญnez, itโs an instant red with no VAR check.
The Premier League we all know what we are doing
PGMOLโs top referee Chris Kavanagh is having a nightmare of a game in Everton vs Liverpool.
1. Deliberately chose not to book Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch.
2. Booked Jordan Pickford for dissent, but not Dominik Szoboszlai despite him pointing in the refereeโs face.
3. Failed to control the game, allowing players to crowd and confront each other.
4. Fell for players going down easily to win free-kicks.
5. Ndiaye brushed Szoboszlaiโs hair โ arguably more severe than Martรญnezโs incident โ yet no action was taken.
19-year-old Ayden Heaven delivered a clean sheet against Chelsea despite being the only natural centre-back in his first start under Michael Carrick โญ
๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ฆ๐ง ๐จ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐!
Yesterday, Chelsea substitute Romeo Lavia appeared to deliberately stamp on Bruno Fernandesโ foot while he was already on the ground.
Referee Michael Oliver didnโt spot the incident, and VAR Tony Harrington also did not recommend a review.
If the same challenge had been made by a United player, it could easily have resulted in a red card and a three-match suspension.
The deliberate inconsistency is becoming hard to ignore.
๐๐ข๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ?
Paul Tierney was the referee for both matches, officiating both incidents.
One resulted in a red card, while the other did not.
Can you guess which one led to a red card and a three-match ban?
How can PGMOL defend such a disgraceful officiating from their referees?
Fun fact!
Paul Tierney was the referee when Antoine Semenyoโs hair was pulled no red card.
Paul Tierney was also the referee when Calvin Basseyโs hair was pulled no red card.
But when Paul Tierney officiated and Lisandro Martรญnez accidentally pulled Calvert hair red card!
Make it make sense ๐ก
Itโs absolutely crazy. I wonโt be surprised if other players and teams do start to take advantage of this rule and PGMOL then coming up with something ridiculous later
Licha wasnโt even looking at DCL. DCL was grabbing Lichaโs neck. Licha was acting on reaction and his hands went to DCLโs jersey that happens with every footballer. Footballers often pull jersey of other players. In this case, Lichaโs hand just fell on DCLโs long hair. As soon as Licha realized this he pulled back. There was no force and there was hardly any pull.
Itโs crazy to look at that and give a red card in the first place. Itโs crazier to look at it again and give a 3 match suspension. There was no violence in there.
The audio between the VAR and the on-field refs for the Manchester United vs Bournemouth game has been released. Looks at their judgment in both incidents. Man United is being targeted this season.
It was surprising how the referee could see these two incidents so differently, but he gets one look so you cut him some slack & VAR was brought in to correct his mistakes
But for them to look at it multiple times & still make the same mistake is utterly baffling
