Oh and don’t tell me you’ll DM me. Please publicly state why 1) you treat existing customers like crap compared to new new customers, and 2) why you think it’s acceptable to have a 40 minutes waiting time
The waiting time is now 40 mins. How is this acceptable, to make it so difficult to cancel my account? Why can’t I do it online? How are you getting away with overcharging existing customers, and making it so difficult to cancel? @SkyIreland@CCPCIreland@conor_pope

@skyireland half hour waiting time to cancel my account because the price has rocketed up as I’m out of contract! Why would anyone stay with you when you treat existing customers so poorly compared to new customers - and give such crap customer service
Price walking is where you are charged a higher premium the longer you remain with your insurer, and for no reason other than staying with the same provider.
Why does this apply for insurers, and not for broadband? @CCPCIreland@conor_pope

@GarethKennan@AlexMeadeWilson@SkyIreland@SkyHelpIreland@DowndetectorIE South Dublin. If you call them, it keeps trying to direct you to Service Checker & telling you you can report a fault online. Apparently that only works if *your* broadband is faulty - not for general fault. Surely it would be a good idea to be able to report this online too!
@SkyIreland@SkyHelpIreland There’s clearly a Broadband regional outage in and around Dublin, as per @DowndetectorIE below. Can you get an update & information out to Customers ASAP before 9am please. Thank you.
@skyireland@skyhelpireland
Internet still down in Dublin, since 12:30am. Also had an outage for hours yesterday. Can’t find how to report a fault online, please help!
@mandsireland Hi, one of the items of Xmas decorations that I ordered was broken when delivered. I’ve checked your website, but can’t see how to request that new item be delivered (or else a refund). Can you please advise.
@talktoBOI@bankofireland And that’s great. But there can also be issues due to a DD when an account has been cancelled, or ill advised customer behaviour such as sharing card details. Surely a text notification system would be a huge benefit with this, acting as an immediate alert to the customer.
@talktoBOI@bankofireland Thanks for your reply. I’m not alone in this - there’s Reddit threads about it, and I’ve asked friends to check too. The BOI app is using multiples of the the space that data-heavy apps such as WhatsApp use. What is going on with that?!
@talktoBOI@bankofireland I understand that SCA is in place, but surely a facility where the customer can chose to be text-notified of any ‘money out’transactions over a customer-nominated amount would be an early warning system to alert a customer to fraudulent transactions. As well as being very handy.
