The Office of the Inspector-General of Aged Care officially commences today.

Recommended by the Royal Commission, the Inspector-General will investigate and report on systemic issues in aged care.

Mr Ian Yates AM has been appointed as the Acting Inspector-General whilst an extensive executive search is conducted.
