For Puneeth Rajkumar, being a star meant more than winning hearts on screen.

It meant using his success to make life better for those who needed a helping hand.

The beloved Kannada actor supported 26 orphanages, 16 old-age homes and 19 cow shelters. He also helped establish 45 free schools and sponsored the education of 1,800 students, giving thousands of children a chance at a brighter future.

His kindness extended to people facing difficult times, too.

He donated ₹5 lakh towards relief for North Karnataka flood victims in 2019 and ₹50 lakh to Karnataka's COVID-19 relief fund in 2020.

But perhaps his most moving act of generosity came after his passing in October 2021. Having pledged his eyes during his lifetime, his family's decision to honour that wish helped restore sight to four people.

His time may have been cut short, but the lives he touched continue to carry his kindness forward.❤️

📍 This is the same man who, while investigation of the rapes, kidnaping, tempering of evidence was being committed by his family members claimed that they are two separate families.
