Coco is still looking for a home, all of her other appeals have resulted in no offers. Can you please share to give her a chance to find a home?
Coco is a beautiful 12 year old female cat looking for a new home through no fault of her own.
You will notice in her photos that she had a lion hair cut as she got matted previously, however she doesn’t get this hair cut in the winter months.
Coco is looking for a peaceful quiet home with no other animals or young kids. Somewhere she can get out would benefit her.
She is active and likes to explore.
Coco is registered at the vets and enjoys treats.
She is spayed and healthy with no issues.
For more information or to offer Coco a home please email [email protected]
“Twenty-five years ago, a story broke in Chiang Mai, Thailand about a Buffalo who ran for her life from a slaughterhouse. Covered in blood and with a deep wound around her neck, she bolted down the motorway, terrified and desperate. Local radio stations warned the public to stay alert ~ calling her “a mad Buffalo,” with some reporters even labeling her a “crazy ghost Buffalo,” claiming she was crashing into cars as she fled.
We rushed to the scene and found her drenched in blood, a bullet having grazed her forehead ~ thankfully, it hadn’t pierced her skull. We fought to save her life, refusing to send her back to the slaughterhouse, even as angry voices demanded compensation for their damaged cars and called for her to be killed.
With help from kind-hearted people, we rescued her.
The very next morning, in her new home, she gave birth to a baby boy. We named her Mae Sroy, after the scar around her neck, and her son Chokdee, meaning “Lucky.”
Since then, Mae Sroy and her son have lived peacefully among the Buffalo herd at Save Elephant Foundation.
Now very old—Buffaloes typically live around 26–27 years ~ Mae Sroy can no longer walk with the herd. Her son has grown up to become the leader, while Mae Sroy has moved closer to our shelter for more attentive care. She now eats only finely ground, soft food, as her teeth have worn down with age.
Then came the recent flood. Though her shelter was on higher ground, a sudden flash flood swept over the barriers, destroying everything ~ including Mae Sroy’s home. She was gone.
We searched everywhere, fearing the worst.
Our hearts were heavy, believing our beloved old buffalo could not have survived the raging waters. But on the third morning, a miracle happened:
We found her ~ lying in the mud where her shelter once stood. She had come home. When she saw us, she called out, and we cried with joy. I ran to her, and she answered with soft, happy grunts, full of life and relief. Mae Sroy had survived once again.
She truly is a Buffalo with nine lives.
This is the story of one life we saved. At our sanctuary, every animal has a name, a story, and a soul. They are not just Buffaloes or Elephants ~ they are living beings with meaning and worth.
Mae Sroy once ran from death to protect the life growing inside her. And now, once again, she has run from death to protect her own. She is a true survivor, and we will care for Grandma Mae Sroy with all our hearts for the rest of her days” ~ Lek Chailert. 🙏

Steph Spyro @StephSpyro and the @Daily_Express have saved the penguins which are currently being held captive in the basement of the London Aquarium. 👏👏👏
Huge, huge, huge achievement. Hip hip hooray.
A brilliant, brilliant example of nothing more than having a clear vision, a strategic objective coupled with the guts, the ambition and determination to deliver it. Huge round of applause.
Mighty I suggest that others, especially those within the eNGO charity sector will want to take note.

Dwarka forest in Delhi is being destroyed under Supreme Court–directed orders.
As the destruction begins, families of hungry Nilgai — Asia’s largest antelopes — are being forced out of the forest and onto the streets of Dwarka in search of food and shelter.
@mssirsa@moefcc can you help them ? At least let some part of the 12 acres be left for them to live a dignified life !
Karma comes in the shape of a hoof print firmly placed in the face when the horse had finally had enough.
The owner kept pulling and holding its tail until the animal snapped — and with one powerful kick, it made its frustration very clear. 🎯
A group of 11 puppies were abandoned in a park and three of them were dead by the time they were discovered, the RSPCA says.
The dogs were found by a member of the public in Snowdon Park in Chard, Somerset, at around 08:30 BST on Monday.
The RSPCA is now asking for anyone with information - as well as the person who abandoned them - to get in touch. The charity said the puppies were only hours old when they were left and one of the puppies found dead had a wound across its neck.
RSPCA chief inspector Lewis Taylor said: "It's really sad to think that they were dumped at a time when they desperately needed urgent help and care. There is never an excuse for abandoning animals in this way."
The surviving dogs have been treated by vets and are now being hand reared by foster carers in their homes, the RSPCA said.
The charity said the puppies were too young to be able to tell what breed they were.

75-year-old retired oncology nurse who spent her life caring for cancer patients now cannot afford the £90 return train ticket to attend her own cancer appointments
Donna Harvey from Hampshire was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma last December after what she first thought was a spider bite caused swelling on her side.
She now needs regular treatment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, but as a low-income pensioner without a car, the £90 return fare for her and her husband is simply unaffordable.
The couple have been forced to skip meals, eat plainly and sell off belongings just to scrape together travel money.
Donna has already missed some appointments because of the cost and is now facing major surgery next week followed by five weeks of daily radiotherapy in Southampton, another £1,000 in fares she cannot raise.
She has made a gofund me and I've added the link below if you cant donate that's fine but if you could share the post that would be awesome thanks!
