@RichardDawkins this is true - but scientific definitions are not always the most useful ones: if someone is born with dark hair, and chooses to dye it blond, we call them blond because that's how they identify, so that's the most useful description.

Their genetic hair colour matters little.

@ammaar In the end, the plagiarism claim should only be made at the point of sale -an artist (Ai or otherwise) should be able to look at and be inspired by whatever they like.

if what they produce and sell infringes copyright, then that's the crime. We shouldn't police thought crimes.
