Great chapter. But to me there is an overreaction from some fans. We knew a powerup was coming. It had to in order to deal with Kaido. So for some to say 'blew their mind' or 'never expected it' is weird to me. Nevertheless, enjoyed the chapter.

I’m mixed on the whole thing, I really LOVED how the Gomu Gomu No Mi was viewed as trash, this reveal for me really hurts because Luffy came so far with what so many ppl called a trash fruit. I’m still here for One Piece and Oda but this shit FUCKING hurts man
