Any r-special movements can be cancelled by m1 strings, but she has tools to punish that through her third move and bird control. It's directional, basically a second dash that's insanely reusuable

Bird control can't be cancelled anymore unless the mei-mei gets radgolled, and her new third move is significantly better for neutral. She also just can't be punished due to her r-special and she has better movement through it.
