Today is Make Music Day – a worldwide celebration of music🎵

Music has an amazing ability to bring people together, and across the country there will be lots of different opportunities to play instruments, sing, dance, listen and enjoy 💃

With support from @YouthMusic we’ve built our confidence and skills in music making over the past couple of years, and seen our young people discover and grow their musical talents!

For a bit of inspiration, check out the animated music video we created as part of the Hirst: Together Works project. It’s upbeat, fun and includes lots of amazing insights from young people and families in the Hirst. Big thank you to Musician Calum Howard and Animator @AnimatorSheryl for bringing their ideas to life!

We were invited by @AshingtonTown Council to host a creative pop up at Ashington Town Market this Summer. We brought along @AnimatorSheryl & folks from the community had the opportunity to have a go at various animation techniques.
