Modi ji dar gaye, modi ji dar gaye

[Megh Updates 🚨™ @MeghUpdates]

Suddenly, India’s voter identification process (SIR) has become an international political issue.

People who neither live in India nor vote here are protesting and backing protests against India’s Chief Election Commissioner.

Bigger conspiracy at play?

Every citizen of this country needs to understand one thing.

People are making a mistake when it comes to the media and police - Heckling journalists reporting on the ground, shouting ‘Godi Media’ at them or misbehaving with police constables. Let me explain why.

First, the media.

Who do you think decides which political party a news channel supports? The journalist standing on the road with a mic? No. These decisions come from the top. From the owners and the people running these media houses.

The journalists you see on the streets are employees. They work to earn a living and support their families. Their bosses decide what they cover, what they say and sometimes even what script they read.

What do you expect them to do? Refuse? The moment they go against their bosses, they risk losing their jobs.

Some people will say, 'Then why don't they quit?'

Really? In a country where finding a decent job is already difficult, you expect someone to risk their livelihood? They have families to feed and bills to pay.

It's very easy to say that when you're not the one paying their bills.

Now, the police.

Do you really think an ordinary police constable standing at Jantar Mantar decides how a protest should be handled? No. He's following orders from his seniors.

If he’s told to use a lathi against protesters, what happens if he refuses? He risks disciplinary action, suspension or even losing his job.

If you’re angry about police action, question the people who ordered it. If you’re angry about biased media coverage, question the owners and editors making those decisions.

Hold the decision-makers accountable.

A journalist or a police constable is also a citizen of this country. They have families, responsibilities and financial pressures. They are not automatically your enemies because they work for an organisation you disagree with.

Stop targeting ordinary employees. Start questioning the people making the decisions.

@jasveer10 The government just turned two protesters into national headlines

[Jasveer Singh @jasveer10]

The government fell into Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das’s trap.

The government did exactly what they wanted.

That was part of their strategy, to get the government to arrest them and send them to jail.

Now the repercussions - This movement will keep getting bigger, media houses will air debates and discussions for the next 4 days with jail photos in the background on TV, public sympathy will grow stronger, and they will emerge as heroes.

The government is indirectly fueling this protest without even realising it.

Mark my words - This will now become a much bigger headache for the government.

Saying it again - Whoever is advising the Modi government has a very poor understanding of human psychology.

[Jasveer Singh @jasveer10]

Everyone should protest.

Before you call me anti-national, hear me out.

Remember one thing very clearly. Whatever rights and privileges you enjoy today, someone protested and fought for them.

Let's start with our freedom - People protested and fought for years so that you could live in a free country, vote and hold those in power accountable.

Gandhi broke the law. Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad and Subhas Chandra Bose were treated as enemies of British rule. Today, we call them freedom fighters.

If protesting made you anti-national, Gandhi would be the biggest anti-national this country ever produced.

Aapka koi bhi haq aapko thaali mein paros ke nahi diya gaya hai. (Someone fought for every right you have)

Raja Ram Mohan Roy protested for years to abolish Sati Pratha so that women could have the right to live and not be burned alive on their husbands’ funeral pyres.

Today, women have this right because someone protested for it.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar protested and fought against untouchability when millions of Indians were treated as inferior simply because of their birth. That’s why untouchability is illegal in India today.

Not because society suddenly became kind. Because people fought.

Recent example. The RTI Act - Ordinary people fought for years to demand one simple thing. Tell us what you're doing with our money. Today, you can question the government because someone fought for that right.

I can go on and on for the entire day.

Here's something I find fascinating - Every generation enjoys the rights the previous generation fought for, yet many oppose those fighting for the next set of rights.

People love the benefits of protests. They just don't like protesters. If you hate every protester today, be honest - You would have hated Bhagat Singh too.

Jo bhi power mein hota hai, usko aur uske support karne walon ko hamesha yahi lagta hai ki yeh right aapko nahi milna chahiye. (Whoever is in power, they and their supporters always believe you don't deserve this right)

Protesting against the government is not protesting against the country. The government is not the country.

Loving your country is patriotism. Loving your government is just fandom.

Governments come and go. Your rights should not depend on who's in power.

But you keep fighting. 🇮🇳

[Animesh @AnimeshSF]

@jasveer10 The last paragraph nailed it.

Loving your country is patriotism. Loving your government is just fandom.

@Vickynoum @jasveer10 Haan haan bhai, ye khud mastermind aadmi hai

[Vikash @Vickynoum]

@jasveer10 I’ve been reading your posts for a while, and one thing I’ve noticed is that you’re a very sharp observer. Your posts often reflect a lot of thought, planning and strategy.

The way you’ve broken down their entire operation makes me think you’re quite a master at this yourself.

[Jasveer Singh @jasveer10]

The most important thing is not about Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das entering Jantar Mantar.

The best planning is when no one knows your next move. And that's exactly what the CJP guys have done today.

Think for a second. How well-planned was this? They must have planned everything in complete secrecy, knowing their phones might be tapped and the government could find out their next move.

Where to enter, when to enter, who would do what. They knew they had only a 10-minute window.

They knew they needed footage. They knew they would get detained in less than 10 minutes. In those 10 minutes, they knew they needed someone to follow them with a camera and capture the entire operation. They knew who would record the footage and what slogans needed to be raised.

They knew that after detention, they had to go live on Instagram and what needed to be said during the Instagram Live. Then Deepike joined, which was also part of the plan. And all of this succeeded. Now every media house is airing the footage.

Despite thousands of paramilitary and police personnel being deployed around Jantar Mantar in Delhi, these guys succeeded in their mission.

P.S. They also knew they could face an FIR or even jail. But going to jail could generate even more public sympathy. They must have calculated that risk too.

[Animesh @AnimeshSF]

Whoever planned this operation deserves serious credit. The coordination was impressive. @abhijeet_dipke @AshutoshRanka @SauravDassss @Cockroachisback

Excellent command of language, very confident body language and flawless delivery.

@jasveer10 Respecting your parents doesn't mean agreeing with everything they say

[Animesh @AnimeshSF]

@jasveer10 Interesting perspective. Never thought linguistic diversity could act as a natural barrier against dictatorship 👏
