The jougan isn't mentioned anywhere in the manga so far & i do think we are getting closer to the end of the series. Last 10 volumes = 40 chapters

@griizo2020 + and Konohamaru injuries were healed when he put Matsuri bulb in.(chp24) But his injuries were present just before the final panel in the sand. So I like to think they traveled back rather than teleporting.
I think Ike needed a reason to kill of bug. He was no longer needed
