In my own opinion, Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi is one of the strongest Star Wars releases in years.
The animation from Production I.G. is gorgeous, the story feels fresh because it’s set so far in the future (Jedi and Sith are basically myths), and Lah Kara’s journey of self-discovery is genuinely compelling. I especially loved how the lightsabers reflect the user’s heart/color — it’s a cool twist on the usual lore. Some early episodes take a little time to find their rhythm, but once it hits its stride the whole thing becomes really engaging.
I’d rate it an 8.5/10. Highly recommend if you liked the original Visions shorts.
