TVF’s valuation has become 1/4th of what it was in 2019. Tiger Global had invested $25 million in it. Now the total valuation itself is ~$20 million. They are walking out. Writing off.

They are a great cashflow business, but is it a compounding business? Not really. Even Dharma productions of Karan johar, after producing so many hit movies, had to sell. Unless you start amusement parks & TV channels. It’s difficult to grow just as a production house. It’s like throwing colorful water balloons at an incoming truck. Eventually it will run you over.
