@ajayguptaca When you pay using credit card at shops restaurants or hostipal, the MDR is 1.2%-1.8%, do you add that and pay? Also this is collected by the bank and not government

@ajayguptaca Wrong. The MDR is charged by acquiring bank to merchant. It is not collected from you. Just like a payment through Credit Card, MDR is 1.2%-1.8% for merchants by its bank. Understand how payments work before you post.

@Ashneer_Grover Mdr is not paid by people. It is charged by an acquiring bank (merchants bank). It will be charged on 2% of tital upi trxns and today the cost of infra is borne by banks. This money goes to to banks to continue to provide infra for Upi and is not collected by govt
