@tom_seddon Thanks. Even if I take b2 debug off the input monitoring list and add b2... it just puts b2 debug back on.

@tom_seddon So it's evidently to do with caps lock - but my modifier keys are set to default and aren't being used to switch input sources. (First time round I fixed the problem by realising caps lock was still set to switch input sources).

@tom_seddon It mysteriously stopped working mid-session. Nothing changed on the laptop except that I brought it back to London (is it telling me to get back to work?) I figured out the issue: only B2 debug is allowed keyboard monitoring. But when I try to add B2 to the list, nothing happens.

@tom_seddon Thank you, I will try a few things. I'm not at all a computer geek, just played Repton as a kid so am finding my way around the emulator. Persistent saved state would certainly be great if you ever have time to get to it.

@tom_seddon I'm revisiting my childhood over Christmas and was hoping to finally beat Repton 2 with the help of the ability to save progress. Sadly not happening, though. Anyway; is this a known issue?

@tom_seddon Thanks! I just had the problem with Repton 3 as well, unfortunately. After a few uses, 'save state' greys out. It stays greyed out even if I restart B2 - but then loading another game and then loading Repton fixed it until the problem started up again.
