In 2006, students from Xavier High School in NYC sent Kurt Vonnegut five letters asking the aging writer to visit their class. What he wrote back is one of the most inspiring things ever:
The greatest threat to Christianity is not secularity. It is certainty. When you are so convinced that you are right, then you will create all types of enemies and cut yourself off from all the ways God is active in another person's experience.
I'm not saying that The Masked Singer is a sign that we're living in a dystopia, but it's definitely the kind of show that the characters would watch in a movie about living in a dystopia.
