I learned today that Atul Butte died yesterday. A pioneer in the fields of biomedical informatics, data science, RWE, and AI, he integrated and leveraged these fields to transform medical research and care. His enthusiasm was infectious and his optimism for moving discoveries to patients was reflected in the myriad biotech companies he founded. RIP Atul!
Join us on Thursday, June 12th for our next virtual EMI #InsightsForum, where we’ll be exploring how new thinking in cancer evolution, cancer interception, and precision medicine is transforming the detection, treatment, and prevention of cancer. There is new #HOPE!

Adam @adamhayden, I can’t think of anyone who has made us more aware of how desperately we need substantive progress against GBM; but also beautifully shows us all how to embrace and live your life. You inspire me and everyone you touch - big hug your way.
Allison and the assassin- cancer doesn’t stand a chance Quoting Allison, every cancer story counts”. The AACR Scientist-Survivor program learns from every story. Thanks to all our SSP alumni - an extraordinary force for cancer research!
I finally got to meet the infamous @cancerassassin1 in person & thank him for all he does sharing information that patients will understand! We shared about how we both love the Scientist—>Survivor program & the amazing @AnnaBarker20#AACRSSP#ASCO23@ASCO@AACR
Congratulations 2023 #QBIO undergrads for their team’s work on TCGA data. The projects were interesting and hopefully inspire you to think about how genomic (“omes) changes drive lung, colon, ovarian, GBM cancers! Don’t stop - you can change the world!
@tambreleighn These increasingly critical and dynamic partnerships between cancer patients and cancer researchers will one day achieve precision oncology for all - Thank -you for your service.
