Mild acting lang din to, pucho2x setting and story. Kumbaga roleplay lang, pero kuhang kuha ang kiliti ng taumbayan. Ganyan talaga pag organic ang chemistry, not trope-driven.

But if you put it deliberately on a competition against another with a well-crafted story arc, while all they've got is a messy storyline/underdeveloped character, that's blatantly ruining them.

I hate to admit it, but I don't think there is still saving on the ANGUEL dynamics at this point, and perhaps the potential of CH. 🤦

The story did everyone dirty. I have zero emotional investment in any of the leads because the execution relied on telling, not showing. No character depth, no real vulnerability. It's not just Miguel who was written poorly. The entire cast deserved way better storytelling.

honestly, i would rate #ymfs a 2/10:
- 1 point for the good cinematography
- 1 point for making the story decent for SOME CHARACTERS

overall: a huge mess from the character back stories, editing, transitions, time skips, lines, cliché tropes and to top it all, FALSE MARKETING.

I'm watching YMFS rn, and honestly, ang daming awkward moments. The biggest problem isn't even the acting. .it's the writing. Ang daming scenes na walang logical or emotional payoff. Like, nung kinuha ni Raviel si Miguel... Miguel just stayed quiet, got pushed, then walked away? That's it? Walang confrontation, walang realistic reaction. Parang ang daming eksena na nangyayari just to move the plot forward, not because the characters would actually act that way. Kaya tuloy minsan parang high school play yung dating instead of a polished series.
