@ShanBarnsley Look for a therapist trained in Brainspotting! It helped heal me like nothing else. Also, Mental Health Match is a good website to filter for therapists who are a good match for you.

Our desire to discipline and be disciplined is really a yearning for compassion, direction, and certainty. The spankings we cherish most aren't draconian acts of punishment, but ones that are nurturing, arousing, and cathartic. That sounds very healthy. We should do that often.
