@BraveKherson You cannot justify all crimes under the banner of fighting for independence. Even if someone fought for their country, they can still be evil.
@BraveKherson I don't think that's the case. Sure, there are individuals who did bad things, but nothing on that scale. It's convenient to introduce this kind of symmetry, but it's just a false equivalence
@BraveKherson I think part of the problem is that the line keeps being pushed. Everyone knew about all the UPA monuments and street names in Ukraine, but it was mostly ignored. At a certain point, silence just becomes unserious.
@BraveKherson Is Ukrainian identity based on the UPA? Some of them were objectively evil. Ukrainians have lumped them all together, failing to distinguish between heroes and war criminals. Facing this would improve our relations and actually help Ukraine’s EU integration
@BraveKherson Public mood might be changing, but Twitter isn't the best place to judge this. Here a lot of people from both sides are retarded. They got hired, they started a business, they’re earning money and paying taxes, that's just how it works. Do you expect us to just kick them out?
@nickerdoodle45 However, you keep pushing the boundaries and demanding that Poland accept this, even though you are well aware of how we feel about it. If you don't care, you are forcing Poland into a position where there will eventually have to be some kind of reaction
@nickerdoodle45 That would be a strange exchange, considering it wasn't Poland that was attacked by Russia. There are hundreds, probably thousands, of streets and monuments dedicated to the UPA in Ukraine, yet Poland has continued to provide aid.
@Jgeroqhp You started a war that resulted in the destruction of this city, just like many other Polish cities
You can keep dancing around that fact and trying not to admit it, but it’s still the truth
@Jgeroqhp Early? Like 14th century? 😅
So where were the first ones, if we know they didn't found the city?
Once you brought in immigrants, some people were killed, others were forced to leave, with discrimination, Germanization, and so on.
@Jgeroqhp 'One sepcific event' You mean decades? 😅
Exactly this ? 😂😂😂😂
They betrayed as usual, They were supposed to defend the lands, But they did what they always do.
And then bring in German immigrants. And say that it is always been German land with a German majority 😂
@Jgeroqhp It was a Slavic city with Slavs it wasn't a mixture.
Where are the first if we establish that they did not found the city? 😂
The look of the city was influenced later on. Moreover, the city was also destroyed after the war which you started
@Jgeroqhp The city is called Gdańsk.When you were stealing the land, you sent in your own immigrants. The native people were forced to leave or were murdered, and that is how you became the majority. So how does your argument hold up against the reality of today, where the city is 99%Polish?
