@Cash4Questions @ResProfNews Thank you Adam. I don't think we should be too hard on ourselves if some of the new ideas get thrown out. Perhaps some of them turn out to be not be such a good idea, rather than being too difficult to implement.
@ResFortnight That's it! That's the wooden puzzle my brother bought me! The one where having 3 hands would really help. And like REF draft guidance, I've often felt like throwing it across the room in a hissy fit!
@DanKing_DK Yes, stuff I'd normally find out about first on here just aren't coming up at all. Becoming irrelevant is going to make this place the MySpace of the 2020s
I understand why people are stopping using this site. But a real problem is that it's becoming obsolete. The pushing of verified accounts, failure to deal with bots/fake news etc means it's just not as useful as it was. ☹️
@NinjaWorrier It's sad that those opportunities to meet people around events and shared interests are diminishing and it's mostly people spouting opinions.
@Charlesknight Ah the fabulous Burscough Bridge lottery of trying to travel on a Sunday on Northern Rail. I sometimes thought it would probably be quicker to get a lift on a canal boat to Wigan.
Just reaching out for advice from colleagues who have designed/delivered fully online Latin Legum Magister (LLM)/Master of Laws degrees from the UK - if you’d be willing to chat dm me ☺️
Next time you're in Berlin, why not swing.... on the highest swing in Europe!
Thrill-seekers can now soar 120m above the capital's famous Alexanderplatz and get a unique view of the Berlin skyline from a swing situated on the roof of a hotel.
@DrDominicDean I know! At the very least I'd want them to send round some random mini cakes and some posh tea bags. It's even worse than a zoom call as half the time you can't even see the other delegated and interact with them. 😡
One of the loveliest people I ever knew, Philip, had spent time living in Italy. He was always horrified when I ordered a latte after 11am, but it was a mark of his loveliness that he would always insist on buying it for me.
@NinjaWorrier The agreement to never, ever share pics of us from the 80s without express permission still stands, doesn't it? It wasn't a decade for great fashion choices was it? (Though I did love my rara skirt and blue suede pixie boots)
