Had a great time presenting at #RGSIBG22 in 'New and emerging research within gender and feminist geography'. Received some really useful feedback and was wonderful to hear about others' research! Now for the second part of the panel!
It was a real pleasure to co-organise with @rachelhpain and present at the Women's Safety Event the other day. Thank you for the fantastic contributions of @VeraGrayF and Linda Sandberg!
We stand with those calling on Priti Patel to resettle 20,000 Afghan refugees. Time to stand up for what we believe. #RefugeesWelcome

@IEC_EIC Hi. Please can you clarify whether IMM 5707 can be left unsigned and is subsequently filled in with the electronic signature at the end of the process or whether I need to print, sign and scan the document. Thank you.
Despite the technical difficulties (buzzwords of 2021), I had a great time today presenting at #RC21Antwerp.
Certainly left me with some interesting ideas that are worth taking forward!
Super excited to announce the release of my article on urban design and white, middle-class women's fears in Stockholm! It's open access and available here:

Great to present at the IPVI conference this morning on 'The relationship between Urban Planning and Women's Safety'. Looking forward to sharing my work in-person very soon!
This week started with International Women’s Day...it quickly become an incredibly painful week for women.
Like so many women, I can’t stop thinking about Sarah Everard.
What happened to Sarah Everard has hit home hard for so many women because we make the calculations she did every day too. We take the longer, better-lit route, push the fear aside for the voice that says ‘don't be daft, you've every right to walk home alone at night and be safe’
For all the women who've been told you're "too much," "too loud," "too quiet," "too open," "too closed-off," "too career-focused," "too family-focused," "too feminist," etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. -- Happy International Women's Day.

We are still looking for folk to take part in this survey! If you’re in England, female and have a diversification business on your farm please take 10 mins to share your experiences @sally_shortall
