Jewish Londoners should never feel unsafe in our city. After the attack in Golders Green, we must stand together against antisemitism and call out hate-driven acts.

I’ll continue to work with City Hall and programmes to combat antisemitism and promote community cohesion.

[Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan @MayorofLondon]

Getting the policing response right to the horrific antisemitic attacks we've seen is critical, but alone it will not be enough.

That’s why City Hall will continue to fund initiatives and organisations that work to prevent radicalisation and combat antisemitism. I joined young people taking part in a workshop by the Anne Frank Trust in north-west London, supported by my Shared Endeavour Fund.

On 6th January 1945, aged 44, Edith Frank, Anne's mother, died of sickness & exhaustion in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

She'd been separated from her daughters at the end of October when they were transported to Bergen Belsen.

Edith was one of 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.

The Anne Frank Trust extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Susan Tobbell on being awarded an OBE. We are proud to be among the many beneficiaries of her exceptional charitable generosity and expertise.
Her unwavering dedication and support continues to inspire us.

We’re shocked and heartbroken that the city where Anne Frank spent most of her life has been blighted by antisemitic violence. Our thoughts are with all those affected and with @annefrankhouse. We will never stop educating young people to challenge anti-Jewish hatred.
