Just understanding this rule: if you divide by a fraction then you’re going to multiply by the reciprocal.

Wow! Am I the only one who got this one right? For those of you who think the answer is 90, look carefully: it didn’t say divide 70 by 2- it says divide 70 by 1/2.

70 ÷ (1/2) = 70 × (2/1) = 140
140 + 55 =195

Look at it this way: If you have a pizza cut into 10 pieces, and you divided collectively those slices in half, you would have a total of 20 slices.
