BREAKING: Today, Trump’s ICE agents showed up at a public elementary school in Chicago.

Hamlin Elementary School, a K-8 school with 529 students—an overwhelming majority of whom are Latino—refused to let ICE agents into the building.

Is this really the America we want? A place where innocent school kids have to live in fear?

RIP Principal Dan Marburger. As a principal, I recognize that this could be me. I pride myself on being a momma bear for all our cubs at school. The USA has GOT to figure out how to reach our students before they act out violently and hurt (and kill) others.

@AngelaDavisMPR I thought I didn't like math- my HS math teacher told me NOT to take trigonometry. BUT, teaching 1st grade for 5 years taught me to LOVE math. Yay for "base ten" knowledge! I LOVE Kathy Richardson resources for teaching math- it's ALL game-based and cooperative!
