What is your plan to stop third parties, who charge unemployed people to put them on the queue of EDD phone line? This unfair application will obviously & technically create an artificial over-load on the EDD phone system although third party denies it, naturally.

Received Determination Letter for PEUC Tier2 with new balance amount after FED-ED exhausted last Sunday 5/9. The letter advices to certify as usual. But, UI online still shows $0 balance.
@PVic27@CA_EDD I had the same problem. EDD rep suggested to send a message through UI online to change status from pending to paid. I did. It worked. She said: EDD doesn’t reply to messages, but works on the problem. Select “Where is my payment?” on the drop down menu.
Unethical Hiring Practices (that happen every day):
1. Job ad with no salary info
2. Interviewing a candidate 2-3 times knowing their salary requirement, then offering a much lower salary
3. Ghosting candidates after interviews
4. Making free work part of the interview process

@CA_EDD EDD phone status update: It is 2:15pm Monday 3/22/21. I still keep calling EDD at 833-978-2511 & 800-300-5616 since 8:00am today & still EDD phones are down! After long greetings to waste time, message repeats: "Your call cannot be completed at this time, call at another time"
